Murree, Pakistan
Stay a while
A pine-quiet house above the lake, where mornings smell of cedar and the kettle is always on. Forty rooms, four generations, one address worth coming back to.
A note from the house
We keep the fire lit, the tea hot, and the keys behind the desk. Tell us when you’re close — someone will be at the door.

EXPERIENCES
By the fire, in the forest
Wake to pine air and Himalayan light, with breakfast laid as the mist lifts off the valley.

Wood-fired mountain cooking and slow, lamplit dinners drawn from the hills around Murree.
Walks and ridge hikes with our team, then a hot bath and the quiet of the lake.

Hand-poured cocktails on the lake terrace, then a night sky free of the city - bring a shawl.

What guests say
Norwood gets the small things right. Tea on arrival, a turned-down bed without being asked, breakfast served on the terrace exactly when we wanted it. Five generations of memory in every detail.
Eleanor M. · London
We came for two nights and stayed for five. The lake at dawn, the woodsmoke at dusk, and the kindest staff we’ve met anywhere in Pakistan.
Hassan & Aisha R. · Lahore
Chef Marco knows what a guest needs before they do. The kitchen sent up tea and biscotti the moment our flight delay was confirmed. Service like this has a memory.
Sofia P. · Milano
A house, not a hotel. Books on every surface, dogs welcomed by name, dinner laid in front of the hearth. We’ll be back before the leaves turn.
James & Charlotte F. · Edinburgh
Quiet, considered, and deeply private. The mountain views are matched only by the gentleness of the people who keep this place.
Faraz K. · Karachi
The closest thing to a Tuscan villa I have found east of Florence — only the air is cooler, the cedars taller, and the silence more complete.
